Lucknow: The appearance of a rented room, verandah, or council schools with less than 30 children is going to change. These schools will be merged into schools with more rooms and space, where children will be provided with other facilities including digital classes. Guidelines have been issued to officials in this regard by the Basic Education Department. There are more than 1200 council schools in the capital, Lucknow, in which about two lakh children are registered. Among them, only half a dozen schools, one-roomed, rented buildings, verandahs, or less than 30 children are running in such a situation.
There is nothing here in the name of student facilities in such council schools. In view of such a situation, it has been decided that schools with more space will be merged. According to the place here, rooms, playgrounds, digital classes will be provided with basic facilities for different classes. BSA Lucknow Dinesh Kumar told that instructions have been received for Director General School Education. Therefore, a proposal will be sent to the council to merge such schools with more space.
After this instruction of the government regarding schools, it is believed that now those who comment on schools will be able to shut their mouths. In fact, council schools have long been a victim of neglect. All schools are dilapidated, even where there is no seating arrangement. Due to this, parents are reluctant to send their children to such council schools to study, which is why the student numbers are also low here. But this time the Basic Education Department has focused on those schools where the number of students is less than 30.
