Sitapur: District prison inmate drank pesticides under suspicious circumstances. As soon as the news started, there was a stir among the jail authorities. He was rushed to the district hospital. The incident took place on Wednesday. Considered detainee Narendra was admitted by District Guard Anil to the District Hospital Emergency at 3.45 pm on Wednesday. After initial treatment, doctors shifted him to Medical Ward-A. He was discharged from the hospital on Thursday when his condition improved.
Here, the captive Narendra told reporters that from Wednesday morning to noon, the Circle Officer struck him three times with an iron bar. In this compulsion, he decided to commit suicide by drinking poison. However, all these allegations of detention Narendra have been rejected by the jail officials. Jail officials say that the detainee Narendra keeps arguing with the prisoners. It is charged with serious cases like robbery, theft, etc. There are about 12 cases on it.
Circle officer accused of collecting money
While being admitted to the District Hospital, Narendra also told the journalists that the Circle Officer in jail takes 600 rupees (exonerated from work) from the prisoner. Neither does its work, otherwise, it is beaten. He also pointed out, prison officials ignore the complaint. Narendra has been in jail since 2018 in the case of theft.
Jail Superintendent DC Mishra says that there are 10-12 cases against the detainee Narendra. He is always bullying. We were in the High Court on Wednesday. A week ago some of the detainees were heating up. This Narendra had extinguished by pouring water there. On Wednesday, spraying of insecticide on potato crop was going on in the garden, in which he drank water by pouring water in an empty vial. It is a matter of allegations, he has been in jail for two years, he will remember all the allegations yesterday.
