Rohtas builder’s property in Lucknow attached, action taken in the case of cheating more than one thousand crores
Lucknow: The Lucknow Police Commissionerate on Friday started the proceedings to attach the property of three people, including Paresh Rastogi, Piyush Rastogi, three owners of Rohtas Builder, who were accused of cheating about one thousand crores. Under the direction of ADCP Hazratganj Chiranjeev Nath Sinha, an organized team of Hazratganj and Gautampalli police started the operation at their residence in the Sultanganj Chowki area.
ADCP Hazratganj said that the owners of Rohtas Builder have been accused of cheating in the name of giving plots and flats to hundreds of people. There are more than 100 cases against the three directors of the company in other police stations including Gomtinagar, Vibhutikhand, and Hazratganj. The three owners have been on the run for a long time. Police arrested a director of the company some time ago and also sent him to jail in the case. The gangster was also prosecuted by the Lucknow Police Commissionerate against the absconding accused.
In the absence of an arrest, the police had taken orders from the court to seize the property of the three owners. The police team reached Rohtas Builder’s house on Friday morning. During this time a heavy police force was present. Police seized whatever items were found in the residence. Prepared a complete list of that. The attachment was going on till the news was written. Gangster’s proceedings were carried out by Hazratganj police. The case was being investigated by the Gautampalli police.
