Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seems to be preparing ahead in the midst of affecting a large number of people due to the global pandemic Coronavirus infection attacking at several stages. Preparations are also being made to deal with the third wave of coronavirus infection in Uttar Pradesh.
CM Yogi Adityanath said about the third wave, that the number of children in the third wave of Covid-19 is being feared. He said that for this reason, we have asked to prepare pediatric ICU in every district as well as in all medical colleges. There is also a possibility of a third wave coming after the second wave of Covid-19 from all four sides. He said that with this, we have started preparing our action plan from now to curb the third wave. The Uttar Pradesh government has instructed the administration in every district to prepare a dedicated hospital for women and children from now on. Along with this, 2,200 ambulances of 102 have been dedicated to women and children during the Emergency. Still, 1,500 dedicated ambulances have been deployed for Covid-19 patients in the state.
350 Advance Life Support Ambulance: The Chief Minister said that along with this we still have 350 Advance Life Support Ambulances, which are being used during the transition of Covid-19. He said that monitoring committees are also very active in the state. Monitoring committees provide medicine kits to Covid-19 symptomatic or suspected infected in villages. The list of such infected or suspects is made available to the Integrated Covid Command Control Center and then the Rapid Response Team goes to the respective areas to conduct the Covid test.
A comprehensive strategy to deal with the infection in rural areas: CM Yogi Adityanath said that we had started a comprehensive strategy to deal with the infection in rural areas from 02 May itself. For this, monitoring committees have been formed in every gram panchayat. All these screening committees are doing the screening work by keeping 97,000 revenue villages at the center.
Focus on vaccination: CM Yogi Adityanath said that our government started vaccination of people in the age group of 18 to 44 in the state from May 1. In the first phase where more than 18 cases of people over 18 years of age were vaccinated, where there were more active cases. After this, 11 more districts were added. In the second phase, all the municipal corporations of the state were added. From Monday, vaccination work will be done for people above 18 years in five more districts. In this way, coronavirus vaccination will be done for people in the age group of 18 to 44 years in 23 districts of the state. Vaccination will start in the third phase vaccination drive from tomorrow to all the commissary headquarters as well as 18 years of age in all the Commissionerate HQs from tomorrow. Vaccination proceedings will proceed in 23 districts from tomorrow.
An aggressive campaign of trace, test, and treatment: The Chief Minister said that the Central Government is providing vaccines free of cost to every person above 45 years of age. With this, the state government is providing free vaccines to every youth in the age group of 18 to 44. So far, 1.50 crore doses of vaccine have been applied in the state. With this, 4.50 crore Covid tests have been done in the state so far. There are 80,000 beds for Level-2 and Level-3 infected in the state. Where treatment facility is being provided to Corona positive. He said that when the first case came in the state on March 2, 2020, we had neither the capacity to test nor any isolation bed, where treatment could be done. After this, we worked in a mission mode in collaboration with the Government of India. Together with all our public representatives, administrative system, and all organizations, we are doing 2.50 lakh tests every day. Our government launched an aggressive campaign of trace, test, and treatment to control the second wave of Covid-19 across the state and today the result is in front of us. On April 27, there were more than ten thousand positive cases in Gautam Budh Nagar, and today there are less than 400.
