(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Locusts have arrived in Bihar and has been trying to destroy the crops in many areas by dividing themselves into different herds. They have reached many rural areas of Patna. A large number of locusts were seen in Masaurhi, Bikram, Dulhin Bazar, and Dhanarua. On Sunday evening around 4, the group arrived at Masaurhi via Naubatpur. They have now entered Central Bihar as well. They have spread themselves in Rohtas, Bhojpur, Siwan, Gopalganj, and Betia. So along with the border districts, Patna, Jehanabad, and Arwal have also been put on high alert. The training given to the farmers by the Department is proving to be most effective. The authorities have claimed to have made all the arrangements, but there is no news of killing the locusts anywhere except Rohtas.
