(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern journalist): After the murder of 8 policemen including CO, the Kanpur police were on the lookout for absconding Vikas Dubey and his henchman. All limits of Kanpur division were sealed. By stopping every vehicle, police searched for Vikas. Blockade up to Unnao and Fatehpur, a tremendous checking campaign was launched. After the martyrdom of 8 policemen, police officers got angry. Late-night about 2:30 am, IG ordered that to seal the limits and instructed to run an intensive checking campaign. As soon as the information was spreading, the anger of policemen was increasing. With the sealing of the boundaries, the police force was developed on the highway and along the roads connecting the village to the city. The incoming and outgoing vehicles were started to check. Force of 30 police stations, including 450 police inspectors have been reached in Bikaru. And also 10 CO was reached on time.
A platoon RRF has been posted in the village so that the law system does not deteriorate in the village. On Friday, RRF soldiers were on combing in the village full day. At night they made a camp there. Late night, Police officers with RRF soldiers were on duty. STF IG Amitabh Yash also took charge. He instructed the STF and full network to work independently. Chaubepur and Shivrajpur market was closed on Friday. Some shopkeepers were trying to open the shop but shops were closed by police. 2 SP, 6 CO, 7 inspectors, more than 500 policemen, 10 members of the crime branch, 5 members of Servilance cell, A platoon of RRF were present there.
