Lucknow: The incident of the murder of Dainik Jagran’s young journalist Ashish Kumar Dhiman and his younger brother Ashutosh alias Gauri in Saharanpur has been taken very seriously by the DGP headquarters. ADG Law and Order PV Ram Shastri and IG Law and Order Pravin Kumar Tripathi expressed their unhappiness with SSP Saharanpur Dinesh Kumar P. about the adventurous incident and directed strict action against the accused. Accused father-sons are suspected to be hiding in Roorkee (Uttarakhand). Contacting senior police officers of Uttarakhand has sought help in searching for the accused. From the DGP headquarters level, IG law and order has been entrusted with the monitoring of the entire case.
Ashish Dhiman and his younger brother Ashutosh were shot dead on Sunday by a domineering neighbor and his two sons in Purana Madhonagar in Saharanpur. The IG law and order says that strict instructions have been given to the local police to ensure the early arrest of the accused Mahipal, his sons Suraj, Sunny and Gaurav. Help has also been sought from Uttarakhand Police. It was told that a case of rape has been registered against Mahipal in Uttarakhand. In this case, his guarantors are also being searched by the Roorkee resident. The horoscope is also being scrutinized in the cases filed against Mahipal in Saharanpur and other sections in the cases filed against him. Other assistants of Mahipal are also being searched, so that they can be reached soon.
25-25 thousand rupees declared on absconding father-son duo
The police could not find any clue even after 24 hours of the murder of Mahipal and his three sons of journalist Ashish Dhiman and his brother Ashutosh alias Gauri. Eight police teams are raiding all possible targets of the murderers. The SSP has declared a reward of Rs 25,000 each on the main accused Mahipal and his elder son Suraj, while the reward was not announced due to the other sons being minors. On the other hand, Vimlesh, the wife of Mahipal, who was involved in the murder, was produced in the court and sent to jail in judicial custody, while the 14-year-old daughter has been sent to Noida’s child care home.
