Rishitha Jaladi(Intern Journalist) Vijayawada: After the arrest of two engineering students, Guntur urban police arrested another seven students from an equivalent private college for allegedly aiding them in uploading nude videos on the web on July 6.
Addressing a news conference, Guntur urban SP RN Ammi Reddy identified the opposite accused as Manikanta, Dhananjaya Reddy, Tulasi Krishna, Bhaskar, Keshav, Kranthi Kiran, and Rohit. The SP said that these seven students helped both Varun and Kaushik in several ways as they tried to blackmail the guy batchmate for the past two years when she was a minor.
The incident came to light in Guntur City recently after the victim’s parents complained to the Disha police. The accused, Varun, was in relation to the girl and sedated her and took her nude videos and threatened to upload them on social media.
