(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist), Sonipat: A court in Sonipat in Haryana sent two accused who were involved in the killing of two police personnel for five-day police remand. Sonipat police present two accused Bhiwani resident Vikas and Jind resident Neeraj before the court. Both the accused were absconding since the incident.
During the night patrol of the constable Ravindra and SPO Captain appointed in the Butana Police station on 30th June, some suspected miscreants brutally murdered the police with knives and sharp weapons. Eight different police teams were formed to nab the accused in this regard.
The police then raided Jind city on secret information, but the police team was attacked by miscreants with sharp-edged weapons in which several policemen were seriously injured. Police nabbed the vicious gangster Amit and his accomplice Sandeep.
Police present Sandeep in court and took him on remand. During interrogation, two women, Sushila and Asha who were involved in the incident were also arrested and taken on two days police remand. The trio was produced again in court from where orders were given to send them to judicial custody. At the same time, the court gave arrested Vikas and Neeraj five days police remand in this case.
