(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Uttar Pradesh: Uttar Pradesh police recruitment board (UPPRB) is going to start recruiting for Sub-inspector (SI) and Ministerial staff ( Steno/accountant) posts. The notification is yet to be released. According to the media reports, The UPPRB is assumed to release the notification on July 16th and the candidates are free to apply online till mid-august. However, no official statement is given regarding this until now.
According to the reports available, a total of 7400 vacancies are available, where there are 600 vacancies for the Sub-inspector post and 1400 for steno cum assistant. Till today 1,37,253 candidates are recruited as UP Police. It’s estimated that UP Police will fill around 13,000+ vacancies this year, out of which 3638 will be for Jail wardens, 2025 for firemen, and 102 for constable.
