(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Uttar Pradesh: The special police team of Uttar Pradesh was attacked by a few people while trying to arrest them on Saturday. This episode was on Saturday. According to the police, Shahid a tenant of Sarai Kaaji locality in the Kotwali Nagar area was accused in a murder case.
When the police went to arrest them, Shahid and his brother tried to escape, and in an attempt to decamp they counter-attacked the UP police by throwing Bricks and stones at them. The Police were injured and admitted to a hospital nearby. As an act of Defence, the police had fired a few shots in the air. An FIR has been registered against all of those, who attacked the police and disturbed them on doing their duty. The Police officers said that a special team was appointed to nab the criminals.
