Narendra Damodardas Modi, (born September 17, 1950, Vadnagar, India)
An Indian politician who rose to become a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). 

Early Life:-

Modi was raised in a small town in northern Gujarat and completed an M.A. degree in political science from Gujarat University in Ahmadabad. He joined the pro-Hindu  RSS organization in the early 1970s and set up a unit of the RSS’s students’ wing, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, in his area. 

As a Chief Minister Of Gujarat:-

India’s current PM, Narendra Modi, was Gujarat’s chief minister from 2001 to 2014.

Under BJP party, Gujarat invested in infrastructures, such as roads, power, and water supply, and  state completed nearly 3,000 rural road projects between 2000 and 2012, according to the Ministry of Rural Development, and the amount of electricity available per person in Gujarat increased by 41% 
Gujarat’s economy did grow when Mr. Modi was chief minister. 

As Prime Minister:-

On 26 May 2014 Modi sworn in as Prime Minister with the BJP winning a clear majority of seats in the chamber.
