Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist) Two minor girls have claimed that they were sexually exploited by Pyare Mian the Bhopal based newspaper owner. police on Monday had registered a rape case against him and his 21-year-old secretary who used to lure young girls for him.
Till now seven minor girls have alleged rape cases against Pyare Mian who according to police used to run a child sex racket. Most of these girls are from poor families and Pyare Mian used to lure these girls with the promise of taking care of their expenses and their marriage.
The case under section 376 and the relevant section of the Posco Act has been registered against him and his secretary, The police have also started the process of recording the statement of one of the victims before a magistrate under section 164 of Crpc
On direction from CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the district collector has started the process of cancellation of his newspaper license. Pyare Mian ‘s accreditation has been canceled and the process of taking back the government bungalow allotted to him started.
