AKSHI KAMBOJ (INTERN JOURNALIST)
About:
Kesari shrikhand is an appetizing Indian dessert made of strained yogurt. It is mostly made during the festival of Gudi Padwa. It is served chill with well garnished by an abundance of dry fruits. It is extremely easy to make this delightful sweet dish.
Ingredients:
- 15-20 saffron strands
- 50 ml cold milk
- 500 gms yogurt
- 100 gms powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp cardamom powder
- dry fruit slivers for garnishing
Procedure:
- firstly, for making saffron milk, soak saffron in milk for 3-4 hours.
- Add yogurt, cardamom powder, powdered sugar, saffron milk together, and mix well.
- transfer the shrikhand in serving bowls.
- refrigerate the bowls for an hour.
- serve it chill.
