New Delhi: Enforcement Directorate filed a case of money laundering against SP MP Azam Khan.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) registered a case against Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan under the Money Laundering Act on Thursday. Azam is the former minister of Uttar Pradesh government and current MP of Rampur. Yogi Adityanath Sarkar had filed cases against him against the illegal occupation in Rampur last days. His Jawahar University also raided the past two days. According to the police, rare books of 2500 piracy have been seized from the university’s library.
On the other hand, Azam’s legislator son Abdullah Khan was arrested for the second time in 24 hours on Thursday for breaking 144 in Rampur. On Wednesday, he was arrested even after obstructing the police administration’s action, but later he was released on personal affairs. Even after the imposition of prohibition in Rampur, hundreds of activists of the Samajwadi Party performed. The administration has sealed the boundaries of the district and prevented SP leaders from entering Rampur. SSP Akash Tomar says that Section 144 has been imposed in Rampur because of Kawand Yatra and Bakriad. No one who tries to spoil the environment will be spared.
Azam’s son said- will fight against cross-border administration
Azam Khan Jauhar University’s founder and his son Abdullah Khan is its CEO. The MLA from Uttar Pradesh’s Swar-Tanda seat has alleged that Abdullah has obstructed government work during the raid in the university on Wednesday. The police had taken him into custody. Apart from this, the case is also registered against Abdullah for giving false and false information in getting a passport prepared. Abdullah has said that he will now fight the battle against the administration.
