Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist )A class 7 student was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by five people for three days in a village at shekpura district, said police on Wednesday.

An FIR was lodged by the victim on Wednesday against three named and two unknown accused with the jamui ‘s women police station. The charges include abduction and gangrape under the Indian penal Code and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act

The incident took place on July 10 when the minor was asked by one of the accused to accompany him for a bike ride. When he reached the outskirts of the village, two others joined them and took her to an isolated place at gunpoint. The minor told the police that her co-villagers Chandan, Gulshan Raj, and Rohit Kumar locked her in a room for three days and sexually assaulted her.

One of the accused dropped her at Ramgarh Chowk in Lakhisarai district and warned her against disclosing the incident to anyone, police said.

The girl somehow contacted her maternal uncle and lodged a police complaint. Jamuai DSP Rampukar Singh said all accused persons are absconding. The victim has been sent to Sadar hospital for medical examination.
