With a walk in the light rain, visiting a chaat-dumplings shop, and looking for opportunities to eat hot kachori-samosas. But amid corona, we all are frightened to go out. So, don’t repent and make these flavorful snacks at home enjoying the monsoon.
Ingredients :
250 grams maida, 50 grams semolina, loaf small spoon baking powder, 2 tablespoons oil, green, yellow and red color (eatable), and salt as per taste, 20-25 cloves.
Method:
First, mix semolina and baking powder in the flour and filter it. Mix salt in it and knead the stiff dough by giving it a means of oil.
Make three equal portions of the dough. Mix yellow color in one part, red color in another, and green color in third. Break small pieces of the three colored parts. Make a big papdi with any piece of dough. In the same way, take a little piece of other color and roll a small papdi from the previous papdi. Now take the third color of dough and roll it slightly smaller than the previous papdi.
Then first take a yellow papdi and make small 4-5 cuts with a knife from the edge. Similarly, cut the remaining two colors in the papdi. Now place all the three sizes of papads on top of each other in such a way that there is big papdi below and the smallest papdi above.
After that put cloves in the middle. Now heat the oil in the pan. Fry the papdi on medium heat. Place a colorful papdi on top of the plate, add green chutney, sweet chutney and ground cumin, red chili powder, and salt burka.
