(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Rajasthan’s chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday accused rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot of engaging with the BJP in horse-trading topple his state government. Pilot was removed on Tuesday in a tussle for power with Gehlot from the posts of the Rajasthan deputy chief minister and state Congress president.

The CM claimed that the former president of the Pradesh Congress Committee was doing the deal himself. He has the proof that it was horse-trading and money was offered as well. The ones that we’re aware of the plot themselves are offering clarifications that nothing happened. Our deputy chief minister and president of the PCC was doing the deal himself and gave statements that there was no horse dealing. He added what clarifications you offer when you have been interested in it yourself.

He said the media should raise a voice when democracy is being murdered. The media should be upholding honesty and truth. Isn’t it the media’s responsibility to lift a voice while the system is at an end?
