(Pooja Pal; Intern Journalist): Former US President Barack Obama has condemned the violence in protest against the death of George Floyd. He called upon the protesters to come up with a political solution to their problems. He has addressed the agitators, saying that the protests represent a genuine and legitimate frustration over the failure of police practices and reform of the wider criminal justice system. He said, but despite this, we should condemn those who resort to violence. He said that we can make people aware of protesting and throw light on injustice. We have to translate those aspirations into specific laws and institutional practices.
