According to the information, 2-3 terrorists were reported to be hiding in the Khud Hanjipura area in Kulgam in south Kashmir on Monday morning. After this, 34 National Rifle of Army, CRPF, and a team of police started joint action. Security forces laid siege to the area.
According to IG Vijay Kumar, when the team of security forces started moving towards the whereabouts of the terrorists, the firing started from the terrorists. Indian soldiers also retaliated. 2 terrorists died in this encounter. According to the police, the identity of the terrorists continues.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted and informed that a large number of weapons and other items have been recovered from the slain militants.
