Deepak Dubey: Photo-sharing app Instagram has released several features and updates to deal with problems like cyberbullying. Community Standards Enforcement said in its report that the company has taken this step to make its social media platform more secure.

Instagram wrote in its blog that we are releasing the fifth edition of the Community Standards Enforcement Report, which tracks our progress in securing Facebook and Instagram. With this, the company has released many features that will give the user a better experience.

Delete comment in bulk:

Through this feature, the user will be able to delete about 25 comments simultaneously. This is very beneficial for those who have a lot of followers, in such a situation they will be able to create a positive environment on the account. To use this feature in iOS, you have to go to the comment and click on the dot icon, which will be found on the top right corner. In this, the user will be able to delete 25 comments simultaneously by going to the manage comment.

Block comments and accounts:

In addition to deleting a comment in bulk, the user will be able to block or ban a comment. For this, the iOS device user has to select the blocking comment and go to the management comment. Apart from this, to block the account in bulk, you have to click on the More option. The Android user has to press and hold on the comment, then go to the Dotted icon and select the block.

The user will be able to choose who can tag him:  Another beneficial feature for anti-bullying has been released by the company. In this, users will be able to decide which users can tag and mentor them on Instagram posts. It will get three options “Everyone,” “Only People You Follow,” and “No One”. User can choose any one of them.

Pinned comment:

Instagram is also working on the pinned comment feature to promote positive experiences. In this, users will be able to pin their favourite comments on the app and keep it on top. Once this feature is released, it will give the user a way to “set the tone for their account and engage with their community, allowing users to pin comments to a select number of tops.”
