Jammu: The body of a 14-year-old teenager who went missing five days ago from Satwari area of Jammu has been recovered by the police on Sunday evening. Acid has been thrown on the body to spoil his face. Due to which the body of the teenager is half burnt.
According to the relatives of the deceased, on Thursday, 14-year-old Kishore Hrithik Kumar of the Satwari area of Jammu received a call. After which he left the house. However, when Hrithik did not reach home by Thursday evening, his family members lodged a complaint at the police station.
Because Hrithik was a minor, the police registered a case of his abduction.
The police had been searching for the missing Hrithik for the last five days but, on Sunday, the Dog Squad of Jammu Police was smelling Hrithik’s clothes and shoes.
After which, dogs went to the empty plot where Hrithik’s body was lying. On receiving the information about Hrithik’s body, people of the area came out on the streets and raised slogans against the police.
These people say that if the police had taken the help of the dog squad on the first day, then Hrithik would probably be alive today. At present, the police are investigating every angle related to this murder.
