(Kajal Singh journalist); Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Konrad Sangma’s investigation report of corona infection has been negative. Sangma traveled to Manipur and Delhi last week, where Covid-19 is spreading very fast. So Sangma quarantined herself after returning from a trip to Manipur. Officials said that the second investigation report of Sangma has also come negative. Earlier in the statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, it was told that the first corona investigation of Sangma was done on 22 June.
Let us tell that National People’s Party (NPP) chief Sangma left the support of BJP last week and went to Manipur on Sunday to meet party MLAs who joined Congress. After this, he went to Manipur again on 23 June and during this time he also traveled to Delhi. Sangma returned to Meghalaya on 25 June, after which he was in-home quarantine for the last 4 days. It is being told that as a precaution, the Chief Minister will remain in home quarantine for 4 days before joining the office.
The Chief Minister’s Office informed that the team of officers and police, who went to Guwahati with the Chief Minister, have also got corona test negative. All of them are also in-home quarantine. Meanwhile, two BSF personnel have been caught by Coronavirus infection. This has increased the number of coronavirus infections in the states to 50. There are now 7 active cases of corona in the state. So far 42 people have defeated this deadly virus and 1 person has died.
