(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist):In the Corona era, the Modi government has provided considerable help to the farmers of the country through the Kisan Credit Card. The government had announced a loan to farmers at concessional rates and that loan is being provided through the Kisan Credit Card. As of 17 August, the Modi government has provided 1.22 crore Kisan Credit Cards to farmers, with a total limit of Rs 1,02,065 crore. This relief given by the Modi government will greatly benefit the farmers and will help in furthering the rural economy.
Explain that the Modi government had announced a loan of Rs 2 lakh crore to farmers at concessional rates under the Self-Reliant India Package. About 2.5 lakh farmers are to benefit from this concessional loan of the Modi government. These farmers include fish farmers and dairy industry farmers. The Modi government has given the slogan of creating a self-reliant India in the Corona era and all efforts are being made under it. Loans to farmers at concessional interest are also part of this campaign.
