Even during the Corona Pandemic, Pakistan is not deterred by terrorist activities. Syed Salahuddin, the head of the Hizbul Mujahideen sitting in Pakistan, has said that the Hizbul Mujahideen was involved in the recent attacks on security forces, including the Handwara encounter. This was confirmed in a video released by the US State Department. In this, Syed Salahuddin Hizbul commander Riyaz Naikoo was shown mourning the death of his son. However, he also believed that India currently has the upper hand. This is because of Pakistan’s weak policies.
Recently in the encounter in Handwara, five soldiers including Colonel Ashutosh Sharma were martyred.
Salahuddin said – India’s pan is heavy
In the second video, Salahuddin was shown saying that this sequence of martyrdom has been going on since day one. Since January 2020, 80 Mujahideen have given their lives. However, the Mujahideen in Handwara have also created problems for India. But due to weak policies of Pakistan, India has the upper hand in the present situation.
Five soldiers including Colonel were martyred in Handwara encounter
On Saturday, 3 May, the army received information that some terrorists were resting in a house in Chhajimullah village of Handwara and they have kept people hostage. The team, led by Ashutosh Sharma, Commanding Officer of 21 Rashtriya Rifles and accompanied by a team of 5 people including a Major and Jammu and Kashmir Police Jawans entered the house.
Security forces evacuated people from the house, but they got trapped. The encounter took place on Saturday night in heavy rain. When the firing stopped around 7 am on Sunday, two terrorists were killed in the army’s action, but during this action 5 soldiers, including Colonel Ashutosh Sharma were also martyred.
CRPF’s patrolling party attacked only after 24 hours
The CRPF’s patrolling party was attacked by the terrorists in Kajibad area here 24 hours after the Handwara encounter. The security forces immediately responded to the attack and killed a terrorist, but three soldiers were also killed in the attack.
On May 6, the army killed three terrorists, including the Hizbul commander
On May 6, the army had an encounter with militants at two different places in Pulwama. The first encounter took place in the village of Begpura, where Hizbul’s top commander and most wanted terrorist Riyaz Naiku was killed for two years. Naiku was a prize of 12 lakh, was most wanted and included in the A + category in the Most Wanted list. At the same time, three more terrorists were killed in the encounter in Sharashali village.
