MP Congress will now use Democratic weapon of Subhash Bose on defectors

(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) On Thursday congress saw the leaving of party by 25 MLA to join the BJP party, it started with the resignation of 22 legislators who were loyal to the Congress leader turn into BJP Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia on March, which was a reason for the fall of Kamal Nath government.

‘The workers of Congress are agitated and need an explanation from the elected representatives who was sold henceforth. If they hesitate to listen, there is a democratic weapon by Subash Chandra Bose which is to be employed. Those people were not to be spared by Congress workers,’ said by Rau MLA and party’s state media department Chief Jitu Patwari.

Congress MP Chief Kamal Nath held a meeting for MLA’s on the last week where they were made pledge that they would not desert the party, however some members didn’t attend, which led to speculation that they may also be BJP bound.

On Thursday MLA Narayan Patel, Congress mandhata left the party and joined BJP , making him the third legislator who had crossover the ruling party in less than two weeks.

The effective strength now at MP Assembly is 203 where 27 seats are vacant and BJP with majority seats of 107 MLAS.
