Saloni Subha ( Intern journalist )After the announcement of class 10 results, the Patna school is gearing up for admission in class 11 by switching to online mode to prevent the gathering of students and parents at school campus considering fresh lockdown imposed in the state till 31 July.
School said that the commencement of new sessions on time is important to avoid an academic loss to the new batch.
Bishop Scott Group of School has replaced the r entrance exam with virtual interaction for selecting external candidates for admission in class 11.
We have opted for the direct admission process of our internal students based on their marks in board exams.while for external candidates,we will conduct online interaction instead of written tests. As this year online admission is going on, we have waived off admission form and prospectus fee”, said a member of School management.
Similarly, other schools like DAV public school, St. Dominic Savio’s High School have also eliminated the entrance test for the first time.
“We have taken provisional admission of our internal students .for other students, we will conduct an online interview instead of entrance test”, said VS Ojha, principal of DAV public school. Meanwhile, parents and students are also in favor to continue secondary education With their current school to stay in a familiar situation.
