Ayodhya: The tone of the controversy that emerged with the sunrise came to an end with the sunset over the newly formed Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust for the construction of the Ram temple. Local leaders first took charge as representatives of the central government. Then after all the saints, including Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, the anger of all saints was dispelled after a direct conversation with Mahant Kamalnayandas with Union Home Minister Amit Shah over phone.
On Wednesday, with the names of the people involved in the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetraya Trust being clear, the voices of disagreement among the saints here began to be heard. On Thursday, the cycle continued to intensify. At its center was the cantonment of Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, the top conductor of the temple movement and president of the Ramjanmabhoomi Nyas and his back Maniramdas ji. Nritya Gopaldas had expressed his dissatisfaction saying that injustice was done to the saints of Ayodhya.
As the day progressed, all the saints and monks started gathering in the camp. Those who reached here by 11 am included Mahant Sureshadas of Digambar Akhada, Mahant Girishpati Tripathi of Acharya Peeth Tiwari Temple, Mahant Kanhaiyadas of Ayodhya Sant Samiti, Mahant Manishadas of Stone Temple. They all objected to the nature of trust. Those who protested also had the support of Mahant Kamalyanadas, the successor of Mahant Nritya Gopaldas. The main reason for the protest was the neglect of the saints of the Ramanandian tradition of Ayodhya who favored Lord Rama along with those associated with the temple movement in the newly formed trust.

On the other hand, the call of protest activated the leadership from local representatives of the ruling party to the top. For damage control, Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay, MLA Vedprakash Gupta and Metropolitan BJP President Abhishek Mishra reached the threshold of the cantonment shortly. Anand Shastri, a disciple of Mahant Nritya Gopaldas, accused the ruling party of neglecting the heroes of the temple movement and saints of the Ramanandi tradition. Returned these leaders from the door itself.

Finally, the leaders of the ruling party resorted to Rajkumar Das, the officer of Ramvallabhakunj. After about an hour, the envoy headed by Rajkumar Das again reached the camp. This time he not only got admission in the cantonment but Mahant Kamalnayanadas agreed to hold talks with the agitated saints. DM Anuj Kumar Jha and SSP Ashish Tiwari also attended the talks. Meanwhile, Kamalnayandas’s talks were held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Kamalanandas was satisfied with the conversation, but to reach a solution, the consent of Nrityagopaladas, who was at that time in solitude, was necessary. Once again the talks started at 3:30 pm and after the collective opinion, at about 4:25 pm, the interlocutor Mahant reached in front of Nritya Gopaldas.
Everything went well as they said ‘ok’
It was challenging to present the government in front of a legend like Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Metropolitan BJP President Abhishek Mishra came forward for this. He said that due to legal reasons his name could not be included in the trust, but in the near future, justice is ensured by his honor. Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay telephoned the Chairman of the Trust to VHP International Vice President Champat Rai. The taciturn trust chairman simply said- “All right.” After hearing these two letters, the interlocutors breathed a sigh of relief.
