(Deepshikha Gauatm, Intern Journalist) Kanpur : NHAI has started a survey on connecting Kanpur-Lucknow Expressway with Kanpur. While the city vehicle owners will get two routes, NHAI has proposed to widen the road on both sides to connect the expressway to Jajmau bridge. NHAI teams are surveying for connectivity with Kanpur after making alignment till Unnao. Due to the high number of vehicles, NHAI has also started preparing a proposal to widen the existing highway from the meeting point. The residents of Kanpur will get two routes for movement from the expressway. One route of the expressway will come out on the existing Lucknow highway and the other path will go from the Ganga barrage from the Saraiya crossing, opposite the Trans Ganga City Project. The proposed ring road is also to be removed, which will connect the expressway.
