Lucknow: The administration has also started clamping down on the Tulsiani Group for not giving government revenue arrears. The administration on Friday locked the office of the company based in Gomtinagar after not depositing the arrears of Rs 1.5 crore.
At the same time, the builder says that the administration is unnecessarily harassing them. While he has got a stay from the court.
According to SDM Sadar Abhinav Ranjan Srivastava, Anil Kumar, director of Tulsiani Group, owes about Rs 3.5 lakh including labor dues of 98 lakh rupees and 55.40 lakh rupees of RERA. Anil Kumar has taken a stay on this for two crores. The builder has first issued a notice to deposit the amount and after the expiry of the term, RC was also deducted.
On attachment of the warning, Anil’s check of Rs 1.5 crore was bounced. After this, the builder’s office was sealed on Friday. According to the SDM, if the builder did not deposit the arrears, he would be arrested. Apart from this, action will also be initiated to seize the properties located in other tehsil areas of the builder.
The builder said, being unnecessarily harassed Anil Kumar, director of the group, says that the RC is going on trial in the court of recovery of arrears. One has got a stay from the court. The SDM seized the office without notice, which is completely wrong. Locking the office will be a problem for our investors. We are doing our work honestly. When the raids were not in the office, the SDM seized the office without hearing anything.
DM said arrest
DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that Amin, who was negligent in the recovery of arrears of government revenue, will also be prosecuted. The property will be attached by issuing RCs of defaulters who are defaulters. Those who do not submit will be arrested.
