Indore: An Air India aircraft carrying 93 Indians stranded in Britain due to the outbreak of Corona landed at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport on Sunday morning. Airport Director Arima Sanyal said that under the ‘Vande Bharat Abhiyan’, Air India plane landed at Indore at 8.45 am on Sunday morning from London to Mumbai.
Passengers will stay in the Quarantine Centre for 14 days.
93 Indian nationals have been brought home from Britain through this special flight. He said that along with completing the customs (customs) department and immigration formalities, the health of all these passengers was checked and their belongings were made infection-free.
Sanyal told that all the travelers who returned home from Britain will be kept in the mandatory Quarantine Centre for 14 days. Due to the outbreak of Corona, India is bringing back its citizens trapped in various countries under the ‘Vande Bharat Abhiyan’.
