(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) With the growing cases of Covid-19 globally which has crossed over 13 million marks Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned as the situation will get “worse and worse and worse” if the basics were not followed.

“The disease spreading was the worst in several countries, return to the old normal will not be there for the foreseeable future,” said Director Tedros Adhanom Ghebreysus.

India is the third most affected country in the world with over 9 lakh positive cases. With more than 23,000 deaths due to the disease while 3,11,565 are under treatment and recovered cases are 5,71,460.

Due to the increase in cases, many states have reimposed lockdown to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
