(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: When the moving train malfunction, the signal itself will turn red. By this, the driver will stop the train and the possibility of the accident will end. For this, the railway will install a way-detector between Ghaziabad to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction on the Delhi-Howrah route. The detector will immediately catch the flaws of the wheels, breaks, and pressure of the train passing through the track. It will also inform the control room of the section. When the signal is red, the halted train will be removed. The system is likely to be sidelined by next month. Railway officials said that the distance between Kanpur to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction is 759 KM. Eight way-detector will be installed in such a distance. This will also help in estimating the load in the wagon or coach. Optional arrangements will be in case a coach or wagon has more cargo or passengers than capacity.
