(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Jammu and Kashmir: Journey of Mata Vaishno Devi has started from today. The Vaishno Devi Yatra was postponed to 18 March due to the corona epidemic. After waiting for 5 months, from today, August 16, devotees will again be able to see Maa Vaishno Devi. The journey starts with the corona’s strict rules. At present, only two thousand devotees will be able to have darshan in the first phase of the yatra. A visitor told that the trip was closed for 5 months due to corona.

Those who have an online system will be able to see their mata. The Jammu and Kashmir administration had on Tuesday issued clear and strict guidelines with permission to open religious places in the state. After getting the approval of the state administration, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has decided to start Vaishno Devi Yatra from August 16. There will be only online registration of devotees for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra. Interested pilgrims will not be provided an immediate travel slip from the travel registration center.
