(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The ambitious project to conserve dolphins found in the Ganga river will begin in 15 days, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This was said by Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Monday. On the 74th Independence Day, the Prime Minister has announced the Project Dolphin, saying that it would promote bio-law and create employment opportunities. Javadekar tweeted that as per PM Modi’s announcement on 74th Independence Day, Project Dolphin will be launched soon for conservation and protection of Dolphins in the country’s rivers and seas. The dolphins found in the Ganga river was declared a national aquatic species in 2010.
