(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: IPS Ajay Pal Sharma has been accused of colluding and corruption with the accused, while IPS Himanshu Kumar has been accused of recommendation for transfer posting. Lucknow Vigilance establishment has completed its investigation against IPS Ajay Pal Sharma and IPS Himanshu Kumar and submitted its report to the government. If sources of vigilance are to be believed after a thorough investigation in the allegations against both IPS officers in the report, the government has been made aware of all the facts.
Currently, Vigilance officials are not disclosing this report as it is confidential. If sources are to be believed, this report, prepared under the direction of director vigilance, has found many of the allegations against both IPS to be true and recommended disciplinary proceedings as per rules from the government. In Fact, against IPS Ajay Pal Sharma and Himanshu Kumar, former Noida SSP Vaibhav Krishna made all the serious charges including conniving with criminal and corruption. The government set up an SIT in December 2019. In the direction of the government, Vigilance started its investigation and prepared its report. However, before this, the evidence given against Ajay Pal Sharma was found wrong in forensic investigation.
