(Harleen Kaur, Former Intern) The longest Atal Tunnel of 9.2 kilometers connecting Manali with Leh completed after Ten years. The Chief Engineer KP Puroshothamam said that the estimated period for the completion of the world’s highest tunnel above 10,000 feet was Six years but completed in 10 years. He further said that the tunnel reduces the distance between Manali and Leh by 46 kilometers.
