(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Hathras: Hathras could not even emerge from the scandal that another daughter of this place became a victim of cruelty. It is alleged that her brother along with a 4-year-old innocent girl has committed rape. The innocent was admitted to a hospital in Delhi, but could not be saved. After the death, the family blocked the girl’s body on the road outside the village. The family says that the girl will not be cremated until the accused is severely punished. With this, now ADM JP Singh of Hathras has told that in this case the inspector of Iglas has been suspended and the assistance of five lakh has been sanctioned for the victim’s family.
The jam has opened on ADM’s assurances and the father has agreed to the funeral of his daughter.
The case is related to the village Jatoi area of Kotwali Sadabad area where according to the report recorded in the case, the mother of the child had passed away 7 months ago.
After this, the child and her elder sister lived with their aunt. Innocent’s father has alleged that 10 days ago, aunt’s son raped her. Not only this, instead of getting treatment, he was locked in the bathroom.
When the children playing outside the house made a noise after hearing the cry, the villagers complained to the police. After this, with the help of Child Helpline, the innocent was admitted to the hospital. Seeing the deterioration, she was sent to Delhi, where she died during treatment. The father’s report has been booked against aunt and her son in Aligarh under sections 323, 342, 376, 120b of IPC and sections 5 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act 2012. The accused in this case has been arrested. DSP Brahm Singh of Saadabad has informed that due to negligence in the case, the SHO of Igles police station has been suspended and ordered a departmental inquiry. In addition, the district administration has announced to give 5 lakh financial assistance to the victim’s family.
