(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Delhi: A surprising case has come to light in the Adarsh Nagar area of Delhi, where a young man was so expensive to make love that he lost his life because the boy was from the Hindu community and the girl was from the Muslim community. The girl’s brother and family are accused of killing the boy. The police have so far arrested a total of 5 accused, including 3 minors. The accused have been identified as Manwar Hussain and Mohammed Raj Hassan.
Apart from this, three accused are minor. Only after the girl’s statement, the police have arrested all the accused, including the girl’s brother. The girl told the police that after making the statement she feared her family. So she started refusing to go home. After this, the police sent the girl to Nari Niketan. Police said that on 7 October, police received information about the death of a man from Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital and identified the deceased as Rahul. There was no visible external injury on the body, but when his post-mortem was done, it was found that he had a deep injury to Spleen, which led to his death.
Rahul lived with his family in the Moolchand Colony of the Adarsh Nagar area. He taught home tuition and was a BA second-year student. At the same time, the girl’s family lives in Jahangirpuri. The relatives of the deceased have alleged that Rahul had a friendship with a girl, but the girl’s family did not like Rahul because he was from other religions. At that time, the girl’s family was plotting to assassinate Rahul. Family members said that the girl’s family members called Rahul on the pretext of teaching tuition to the children and as soon as they reached some distance from the house, they were beaten to death by the accused.
The girl whom Rahul loved was of another religion. The same thing did not suit the girl’s relatives. The girl’s brother and family are accused of killing the boy. The deceased Rahul’s uncle is an eye witness. To save the nephew’s life, he folded his hands in front of the accused, held his feet, and pleaded for life, but the killers did not take pity. He told that by the time he reached the spot, the girl’s brother, maternal uncle, and other relatives, his nephew Rahul. They were beaten up on the road. He reached the spot, clapped his hands in front of the accused, and pleaded for the nephew’s life.
