(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): A petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday seeking a moratorium between the Adani Group of Maharashtra and the Chinese company to cancel the MoU. It calls for the disclosure of information about trade policies between China and India.

Supriya Pandit, a woman advocate of Jammu and Kashmir, has filed this petition in Kot in which the Adani Group, Central Government, Gujarat Government, and Maharashtra Government have been made defendants. The petition has demanded the Supreme Court issue an order to cancel the agreement made with the Chinese company. Recently, in view of the sacrifice of 20 soldiers along the Indo-China border, the central government has banned 59 mobile apps of China.

The Adani Group had signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese giants to invest the US $ 300 million in an Indian port manufacturing unit. It proposes to set up manufacturing units in Gujarat’s Mundra Special Economic Zone.
