All 10 people voluntarily joined the trial. AIIMS Superintendent Dr. CP Singh said that they were given the vaccine on Monday morning. Their health will be constantly monitored. A team of doctors has also been formed to study the effect of the vaccine on the body of these people. A prepared report of people, who will be given a vaccine, will be sent to ICMR.
The trial of this vaccine will continue on different people. It is known that Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech and ICMR have jointly prepared the vaccine to protect against corona in India. The vaccine trial is being conducted at 13 different locations across the country, including Patna AIIMS, and through specialist doctors in the corona. Prior to trials on human, this vaccine has also been tried in many types of animals. After showing no side effects in them, it has been released for human trials.
