(Juhi Aishwary, Journalist): A corona-positive woman gave birth to twin sons in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The mother-child is healthy, The team of doctors is monitoring him. A 30-year-old woman resident of Nanda Nagar, Indore gave birth to twins at Maharaja Tukojirao Hospital (MTH) on Saturday morning. The woman is COVID positive. She was admitted to MTH on 10 May after Corona was confirmed. She was discharged from the hospital on 17 May due to no serious symptoms. He was being treated at home.

According to Dr. Anupama Dave, who is in the delivery team, the woman had an eight-month gestation. She was also taken special care during the treatment of Corona due to being pregnant. On May 17, while discharging from the hospital, he was instructed to come immediately to the hospital whenever there is anguish. She is Corona positive, so it was decided to deliver in MTH.

Woman already has a baby

On Friday, the woman arrived at the hospital complaining of childbirth. She gave birth to two children at around 11:30 am on Saturday morning. Delivery was normal. Children weigh between 1.6 and 1.7 kg. The woman already has a child. She has also had an abortion once. According to Dr. Dave, there is less possibility of newborns getting corona infected. Despite this, full care is being taken.

Superintendent Sumit Shukla, Superintendent in-charge of MTH hospital said that the woman is corona positive, so it was decided to deliver in MTH. The mother-child is healthy, The team of doctors is constantly monitoring them.

Explain that the Indore city of Madhya Pradesh remains a hotspot of Corona. Indore is the most corona infected in the state. On Saturday, an official said 83 people who tested positive for the coronavirus have come out in the last 24 hours. With this, the count of COVID-19 in the most affected district in Madhya Pradesh has reached 2,933. Indore Chief Medical and Health Officer Pravin Jadia said that the death toll in the district increased to 111 after the 40-year-old deceased was tested positive.
