(Kajal Singh intern journalist): Police have got a big success, Police have arrested one of India’s biggest drug smugglers, Ranjit Rana Cheetah, from Sirsa in Haryana.
Sirsa: After the arrest of Hizbul operatives in Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, the police on Saturday arrested Ranjit Rana Cheetah, one of the biggest drug smugglers of India. The Cheetah of Amritsar was wanted in June 2019 in 532 kg of heroin from the attic. This information was given by the DGP of Punjab.


Ranjit Rana and his brother Gagandeep Bhola have been arrested from Begu village in Sirsa, Haryana. Cheetah is suspected of smuggling heroin and other drugs from Pakistan in the form of 6 rock salt consignments through ICP Amritsar between 2018-2019.


Recently, Hizbul’s top commander Riyaz Naiku was killed in Begpora in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. This work was carried out under Operation ‘Jackboot’ under the leadership of the National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval. Doval named the operation ‘Jackboot’ after the terrorists raged in the districts of South Kashmir like Pulwama, Kulgam, Anantnag, and Shopian.
