Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi and said, ‘2014- Modi Ji’s election promise, Swaminathan Commission Minimum Support Price (MSP) to farmers; 2015- Modi government said in court, this will not be possible; 2020- Black Farmers Law. ‘After this, he has also written four lines, ‘Modi Ji’s intention is clean, new anti-agricultural effort, clean from the root by farmers, good development of capitalist friends.

At the same time, Congress’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised 50 percent benefit, but the Agricultural Price Commission Report -2020 has exposed his claim. Earlier, the opposition parties had approached the President for not approving them, accusing him of forcibly passing agrarian reform bills in the Rajya Sabha. All the major opposition parties, including the Congress, had asked the President not to approve these two Bills, raising serious questions over Deputy Speaker Harivansh’s conduct of forcibly passing the bill, amidst uproar in the Rajya Sabha.
